ARRIVING BY CAR
Paid parking space can be found around the museum and under the Puolala Park, Parking Louhi (entrance at Läntinen Pitkäkatu 12b). The museum yard is reserved for the personnel and handicap parking, which is situated to the right of the main entrance.

ARRIVING BY BUSS OR BY TRAIN
It’s less than a 10 minutes’ walk from the Turku bus station or from the main railway station. Local bus lines stop at the Market Square, a few minutes’ walk from the museum.
PLEASE NOTE THE WINTER SEASON
During the winter we do our best to keep the museum ground safe, but please be careful when you are out and about. Our old floors can’t bare walking with studded or ice cleat shoes, so please don’t wear them inside. You can borrow slippers from the museum for the duration of your visit.

- The museum is fully wheelchair accessible.
- A wheelchair, rollator, walking stick and stroller can be borrowed at the museum.
- Guide dogs and assistance dogs are welcome at the museum.
- We welcome the EU Disability Card. Free admission for assistant / support persons.
- Unguarded cloakroom with lockers is located in the lobby behind the staircase.
- An elevator to the other exhibitions floors is located near the cloakroom.
- Exhibition rooms have benches and folding chairs to take with you to the tour.
- Museum staff will assist and advise you in case of problem.

Facing the museum from Aurakatu, the handicap entrance is located to the right of the main entrance. A ramp (1) leads to the door. Door phone (2) push button B gets you through to the information desk. The attendant lets you in.
The wheelchair lift (5) to the museum vestibule is located directly behind the outer door. The call button (3) is located on the wall, on the right side of the door. Push the button Tänne (here) continuously until the lift door opens. Push the button continuously when inside the lift. Door will open once up.
