The glossy surface of Elina Ruohonen’s paintings reflects both the space and the viewer as part of the work. She explores the forms and fusion of living beings, as well as a possible future in which the balance of power between species has shifted. When the boundary between humans and nature blurs, the survivors live together in the new world.
