Inka Bell

28 November 2025 – 18 January 2026

Inka Bell’s practice unfolds as a series of finely tuned moments of transition and transformation, where movement arises through subtle shifts in material and process. Her works invite the viewer into a state of close observation—attentive to the changes that occur within the pieces and to their dialogue with the surrounding space. They open up dimensions in which tightly contained information dissolves into ambiguity, slipping beyond control and resonating on new frequencies.

Based in Helsinki, Inka Bell (b. 1981) works across the expanded field of printmaking, engaging with prints, paper sculptures, and public art. She is drawn to visual phenomena and to the limitless possibilities of constructing an image surface. Often working in series, her works carry quiet echoes of minimalism and concretism, investigating the interplay between two- and three-dimensionality through material, colour, form, and repetition. Bell’s refined chromatic sensibility and the visual perceptions resist verbal definition, eluding interpretation and existing beyond external narratives.

The exhibition is supported by the Finnish Heritage Agency.
