Love Lundells verk \u00e4r dr\u00f6mlika, mystiska och surrealistiska, men inneh\u00e5ller \u00e4ven referenser till vardagen. I verken \u00f6ppnar sig en helt egen v\u00e4rld. Papperskollagen \u00e4r utf\u00f6rda i en d\u00e4mpad palett, ofta svartvit, och p\u00e5visar Lundells suver\u00e4nitet som tecknare. Den skickliga kombinationen av finess och h\u00e4ftighet f\u00e5r den f\u00f6rsta anblickens f\u00f6rtjusning att snabbt ge vika f\u00f6r ett djupt begrundande.<\/p>\n

Det finns mycket att uppt\u00e4cka i Lundells f\u00f6rtrollande verk. Han skapar intrikata underland genom att plocka bilder fr\u00e5n olika k\u00e4llor och rekontextualisera dem. Slutresultatet p\u00e5minner om en hallucinatorisk inre verklighet. Lundell inspireras huvudsakligen av b\u00f6cker, dr\u00f6mmar och sin egen barndom. Titlarna \u00e4r fulla av symbolik och fungerar som v\u00e4gvisare till de underliggande ber\u00e4ttelserna. Utan att avsl\u00f6ja f\u00f6r mycket uppmuntrar de betraktaren att engagera sig i att g\u00f6ra sina egna tolkningar av verken.<\/p>\n

Inflytandet fr\u00e5n det sublima och den romantiska landskapsm\u00e5lningens tradition \u00e4r tydligt, men Lundell tills\u00e4tter en samtida pr\u00e4gel till dem. De idylliska naturlandskapen \u00e4r oftast bestr\u00f6dda med halvnakna figurer, vardagsf\u00f6rem\u00e5l och m\u00e4rkligt iscensatta situationer. De erbjuder oss fragment ur en ber\u00e4ttelse och v\u00e4cker v\u00e5r fantasi, som b\u00e4r iv\u00e4g som p\u00e5 demonens vingar.<\/p>\n

Love Lundell<\/strong>\u00a0(f. 1981) \u00e4r en bildkonstn\u00e4r som bor och arbetar i Stockholm, d\u00e4r han \u00e4ven \u00e4r f\u00f6dd och uppvuxen. I sina verk anv\u00e4nder han sig av bland annat m\u00e5leri, papperskollage och grafik. Lundell tog magisterexamen i bildkonst \u00e5r 2010 vid Konstakademin i Trondheim i Norge. Han har aktivt st\u00e4llt ut sina verk runt om i Norden och Europa, och hans verk ing\u00e5r i m\u00e5nga offentliga och privata samlingar. On Demon Wings<\/em> \u00e4r Lundells f\u00f6rsta separatutst\u00e4llning i Finland.<\/p>\n
